White Pizza

A creamy and flavorful white pizza featuring a garlic-infused olive oil base topped with mozzarella, ricotta, and fresh herbs for a delicious twist on classic pizza.

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  2. Place the dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil and minced garlic. Brush this mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the dough, then dollop ricotta cheese in small spoonfuls across the pizza.
  5. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and dried oregano on top.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  8. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added flavor, try adding sautéed spinach or caramelized onions before baking.
