Vegan Brownies

Deliciously rich and fudgy vegan brownies made without any dairy or eggs, perfect for a healthy dessert or snack.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add in vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  4. Fold in dairy-free chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For extra fudgy brownies, refrigerate for an hour before serving. Serve with vegan ice cream for a decadent treat.
