A festive and refreshing Thanksgiving mocktail that combines crisp apple cider, warm spices, and a splash of sparkling water for a perfect holiday drink without alcohol.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Apple slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Heat gently over medium heat until warm, about 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the maple syrup and lemon juice.
  3. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. When ready to serve, fill glasses halfway with the spiced apple mixture.
  5. Top off each glass with sparkling water and gently stir to combine.
  6. Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks before serving.

Notes

For a slightly stronger spice flavor, steep the spices longer or add a cinnamon stick to the saucepan while warming the cider.
