Sweet Chili Garlic Salmon

A flavorful and easy-to-make salmon dish featuring a sweet chili garlic sauce that perfectly balances heat and sweetness for a deliciously satisfying meal.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and lime juice.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet and brush each fillet generously with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the sweet chili garlic sauce evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped cilantro if desired.
  7. Serve immediately with steamed rice or vegetables.

Notes

For an extra charred flavor, finish the salmon under the broiler for 1-2 minutes after baking. Serve with a side of jasmine rice and steamed greens for a complete meal.
