This Spicy Jalapeño Popper Cheese Ball is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser! Creamy, cheesy, and with just the right amount of kick, it’s perfect for parties and game day gatherings.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Extra bacon and jalapeños for coating
  • Crackers, pretzels, or vegetables, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Remove the cheese mixture from the refrigerator and shape it into a ball.
  5. Optional: Roll the cheese ball in extra crumbled bacon and chopped jalapeños to coat.
  6. Serve immediately with crackers, pretzels, or vegetables.

Notes

For an even spicier cheese ball, use fresh jalapeños instead of pickled, and leave some of the seeds in. You can also add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cheese mixture.
