  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, brown sugar, and salt to create the dry rub.
  3. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then place them in a large bowl.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the dry rub mixture over the wings and toss until all pieces are well coated.
  6. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end, watching carefully to prevent burning.
