Reeses Peanut Butter Cups

Homemade Reeses Peanut Butter Cups are creamy, chocolatey treats perfectly balanced with rich peanut butter filling, ideal for dessert or snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted.
  4. Pour a spoonful of melted chocolate into the bottom of each muffin liner to create the chocolate base.
  5. Spoon a small amount of the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate layer in each cup, gently pressing down to cover the chocolate.
  6. Top each cup with another spoonful of melted chocolate, fully covering the peanut butter layer.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until the cups are firm.
  8. Remove from muffin tin and enjoy or store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, try mixing in crushed peanuts to the peanut butter filling before assembling.
