This comforting Potsticker Soup is a quick and easy weeknight meal, featuring savory potstickers simmered in a flavorful broth with vegetables. It’s a delicious twist on traditional soup!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 20 frozen potstickers
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Pour in chicken broth, carrots, and celery. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Add green onions, soy sauce, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add frozen potstickers and cook according to package directions, usually about 8-10 minutes, or until heated through.
  5. Stir in spinach during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a drizzle of chili oil before serving. You can also use vegetable broth for a vegetarian option.
