Pesto Chicken Flatbread

A flavorful and easy-to-make Pesto Chicken Flatbread featuring tender chicken, fresh basil pesto, and melty cheese on a crispy flatbread base. Perfect for a quick dinner or shareable snack.

  • 1 flatbread (8-10 inch)
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced
  • 3 tablespoons basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Spread the basil pesto evenly over the flatbread.
  4. Arrange the cooked chicken pieces evenly on top.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken.
  6. Distribute the halved cherry tomatoes across the flatbread.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the flatbread edges are crispy.
  9. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle with a little balsamic glaze or add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes before serving.
