Peanut Sauce

A creamy and flavorful peanut sauce that adds a rich, nutty taste perfect for dipping, drizzling, or dressing a variety of dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup warm water
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and well blended.
  3. Slowly add warm water, a little at a time, whisking continuously until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
  4. If desired, stir in red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

For a thinner sauce perfect for drizzling, add more warm water. This sauce pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken, fresh spring rolls, or steamed vegetables.
