Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, baking soda, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  4. Flatten each ball gently with a fork, making a crisscross pattern.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  6. Remove from oven and let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
