Homemade Little Smokies in Crescent Rolls on White Plate

Little Smokies in Crescent Rolls are an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer featuring savory mini sausages wrapped in buttery crescent dough, baked to golden perfection.

  • 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 package (14 oz) Little Smokies sausages
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional)
  • Barbecue sauce or mustard for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles as directed on the package.
  3. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles, depending on the size.
  4. Place one Little Smokie sausage at the wide end of each small triangle.
  5. Roll up the dough around each sausage, starting at the wide end and rolling toward the point.
  6. Place the wrapped sausages seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds if desired.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, brush the rolls with garlic butter before baking or serve with a spicy mustard dip.
