  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste), optional
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang (if using), and black pepper to make the marinade.
  2. Add the ground beef to the marinade and mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef.
  4. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until fully browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  5. Stir in sliced green onions and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
