Grilled Baby Back Ribs Recipe

Mouthwatering Grilled Baby Back Ribs

These grilled baby back ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with smoky flavor. Marinated in a savory blend of spices and grilled to perfection, they’re the perfect centerpiece for your next barbecue.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks baby back ribs (about 2-3 pounds each)
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Rub the spice mixture generously all over the ribs.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300-325°F).
  5. Place the ribs on the grill, bone-side down. Grill for 2-2.5 hours, flipping every 30 minutes and basting with barbecue sauce during the last 30 minutes of cooking, until the ribs are tender and easily pull apart.
  6. Remove from grill and let rest for 10 minutes before cutting into individual ribs.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra smoky flavor, add wood chips (hickory or applewood) to your grill. Serve with your favorite sides, such as coleslaw, corn on the cob, and baked beans.
