Greek Yogurt Bagels

These Greek Yogurt Bagels are a quick, healthy twist on classic bagels, made with just a few ingredients and packed with protein for a satisfying breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain, full-fat)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning (optional)
  • Extra flour for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until a sticky dough forms. Add honey if using.
  3. Dust a surface with flour and knead the dough gently about 5-6 times until just combined. Avoid over-kneading.
  4. Divide the dough into 4-6 equal pieces and roll each into a ball.
  5. Flatten each ball slightly and poke a hole through the center to form a bagel shape.
  6. Place bagels on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning if desired.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try toasting the bagels and topping with cream cheese, smoked salmon, or your favorite spread.
