Sweet and savory, these goat cheese stuffed bacon wrapped dates make an irresistible appetizer perfect for any gathering or party.

  • 12 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 6 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 12 almonds (optional)
  • Toothpicks for securing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Stuff each date with about 1 teaspoon of goat cheese. If desired, add an almond inside before the cheese for crunch.
  3. Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Place the wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is crispy, turning halfway through.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
