This Garlic Herb Cheeseball is a crowd-pleasing appetizer, perfect for parties and gatherings. It’s a flavorful blend of cream cheese, herbs, and garlic, rolled into a ball and served with crackers or vegetables.

  • 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Chopped pecans or walnuts for coating

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and goat cheese. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the parsley, chives, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary. Mix well to combine.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Remove the cheese mixture from the refrigerator. Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands.
  6. Optional: Roll the cheeseball in chopped pecans or walnuts to coat.
  7. Wrap the cheeseball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow it to firm up.
  8. Serve with crackers, vegetables, or baguette slices.

Notes

For an extra touch, drizzle the cheeseball with a balsamic glaze before serving. You can also adjust the herbs to your preference.
