  • 1 cup Fritos corn chips, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, smoked paprika, and chili powder; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped cabbage to the skillet, stirring to combine with the spices and onions.
  5. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 8-10 minutes until cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Remove skillet from heat and gently fold in crushed Fritos for added crunch.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve warm.
