Garlic Knots

Garlic Knots are soft, flavorful bread knots brushed with a fragrant garlic butter sauce, perfect as a snack or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Divide the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a 6-inch rope.
  3. Tie each rope into a loose knot and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake knots for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. While baking, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. Remove knots from oven and immediately brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  7. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, serve with marinara sauce for dipping or add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a spicy twist.
