Crock Pot Turkey Breast

Tender and juicy turkey breast cooked slowly in a crock pot, perfect for a hands-off, flavorful meal that’s ideal for family dinners.

  • 1 (4-5 pounds) boneless turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary (optional)
  • 1 lemon, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub olive oil over the entire turkey breast.
  3. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme; rub the seasoning mix evenly over the turkey.
  4. Place the turkey breast in the crock pot.
  5. Pour chicken broth around the turkey in the crock pot.
  6. Add rosemary sprigs and lemon slices on top if using.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove turkey breast from crock pot and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, sear the turkey breast in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes per side before placing it in the crock pot.
