crispy tater tots

Deliciously golden and crunchy crispy tater tots, perfect as a snack or side dish that everyone will love.

  • 1 (16 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the vegetable oil over the tots and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
  4. Toss the tots gently to coat them evenly with oil and seasonings.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tots are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, try frying the tater tots in hot oil for 3-5 minutes instead of baking.
