Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwich Perfection

This Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwich takes the classic salad and turns it into a satisfying and portable meal. Breaded chicken, creamy Caesar dressing, and crisp lettuce all nestled in a toasted bun – a perfect lunch or quick dinner!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 4 sandwich buns, toasted
  • 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  2. Set up a breading station: Place flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a third dish.
  3. Bread the chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with the panko mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. Fry the chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully place chicken breasts in the hot oil and fry for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Assemble the sandwiches: Spread Caesar dressing on the toasted buns. Top with shredded romaine lettuce and a crispy chicken breast.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the Caesar dressing.
