  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese; simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  5. Stir in lemon juice and fresh parsley.
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately over rice or pasta.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or serve with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
