Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

Delicious and savory Cream Cheese Sausage Balls are perfect bite-sized snacks made with sausage, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese, ideal for parties or appetizer tables.

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (uncooked)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick)
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the uncooked sausage, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, baking mix, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  4. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or serve with your favorite dipping sauce like spicy mustard or ranch dressing.
