Cranberry Brie Crescent Wreath

Festive Cranberry Brie Crescent Wreath

This festive Cranberry Brie Crescent Wreath is a simple yet elegant appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings. Flaky crescent dough envelops creamy brie and sweet-tart cranberry sauce for a warm and comforting treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
  • 1 (14 ounce) can cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll both cans of crescent roll dough. Separate each into 8 triangles.
  3. Arrange the triangles in a circle on the prepared baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends in the center and pointing the tips outward. The tips should create a starburst shape.
  4. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the wide part of the dough near the center of the circle.
  5. Sprinkle the cubed brie cheese over the cranberry sauce. Add pecans, if using.
  6. Fold the tips of the triangles over the filling, tucking them under the center to form a wreath shape.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Brush the mixture over the top of the wreath.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs, if desired.

Notes

Serve warm for the best melted brie experience. For a sweeter wreath, add a drizzle of honey before baking.
