Delicious Cranberry Brie Bites Appetizer

These Cranberry Brie Bites are the perfect holiday appetizer! Flaky puff pastry cups are filled with creamy brie cheese and sweet-tart cranberry sauce, then baked until golden brown and bubbly.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  3. Unfold the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Cut the puff pastry into small squares (approximately 2×2 inches).
  5. Gently press each square into the mini muffin tin cups.
  6. Place a few cubes of brie cheese into each puff pastry cup.
  7. Top with a spoonful of cranberry sauce and sprinkle with chopped nuts (if using).
  8. Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin.
  11. Serve warm.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, drizzle the baked brie bites with a little honey before serving. You can also add a sprinkle of fresh thyme or rosemary before baking.
