Crab Boil Recipe

Enjoy a flavorful and festive crab boil, perfect for gatherings! This recipe combines succulent crab with flavorful sausage, corn, potatoes, and a blend of aromatic spices for a truly unforgettable seafood feast.

  • 2 lbs Snow Crab Legs
  • 1 lb Andouille Sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 lb Red Potatoes, quartered
  • 4 ears of Corn, halved
  • 1 large Onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Crab Boil Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 Lemon, quartered
  • 1 gallon Water
  • Optional: Hot sauce, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large stockpot, combine water, crab boil seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, onion, garlic, and lemon quarters. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Add potatoes and sausage to the boiling water. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until potatoes are almost tender.
  3. Add corn to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Gently add crab legs to the pot, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until crab is heated through.
  5. Remove the crab boil from the pot and drain well. Discard the lemon quarters.
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite hot sauce or dipping sauces.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce to the boiling water. Serve with melted butter or cocktail sauce for dipping.
