Homemade Cottage Cheese Peanut Butter Mousse in Soft Daylight

A creamy and protein-packed mousse combining smooth peanut butter with tangy cottage cheese, perfect for a healthy snack or dessert.

  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: dark chocolate shavings or chopped peanuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the cottage cheese, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt into a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired by adding more honey or maple syrup.
  4. Transfer the mousse to serving bowls or glasses.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Garnish with dark chocolate shavings or chopped peanuts if desired.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute cottage cheese with silken tofu and use maple syrup instead of honey.
