  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl or resealable bag, combine orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the chicken generously with BBQ sauce.
  7. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with your favorite side dishes, such as grilled corn, coleslaw, or potato salad. For extra flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice after grilling.
