Cinnamon Sugar Bagel

A warm, sweet cinnamon sugar bagel perfect for breakfast or a comforting snack, combining a soft bagel with a crunchy cinnamon-sugar topping.

  • 1 plain bagel
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Slice the bagel in half horizontally.
  2. Spread the softened butter evenly on each half.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and ground cinnamon.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture generously over the buttered bagel halves.
  5. Place the bagel halves on a baking sheet and toast in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes until the sugar is melted and slightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of chopped nuts before toasting.
