  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 6 oz smoked salmon slices
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tbsp capers, drained
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush baguette slices lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange slices on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until crisp and golden.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese with lemon juice and chopped dill until smooth.
  5. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
  6. Top each slice with smoked salmon, a few red onion slices, cherry tomato halves, and capers.
  7. Arrange the topped slices in a circular wreath shape on a large serving platter.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and additional dill if desired.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your festive appetizer!
