Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Marinara sauce, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Divide the pizza dough into approximately 30-35 small balls.
  3. Stuff each dough ball with a cube of mozzarella and a cube of provolone cheese. Pinch the dough to seal completely.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Dip each cheese-stuffed dough ball into the butter mixture and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree. Start with a wide base and gradually decrease the number of dough balls towards the top.
  6. Sprinkle the entire Christmas tree with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  9. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the melted butter mixture. You can also use different types of cheese, such as cheddar or pepper jack.
