Candied Kielbasa Bites are a sweet and savory appetizer featuring smoky sausage pieces glazed in a sticky brown sugar and mustard sauce, perfect for parties or game day.

  • 1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: toothpicks for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the kielbasa slices and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the kielbasa in the skillet and stir to coat all pieces evenly.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and becomes syrupy.
  5. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Insert toothpicks if desired and serve warm.

Notes
