A flavorful Cajun-seasoned shrimp and salmon dish served with a rich and creamy garlic sauce, perfect for a quick and delicious dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz salmon fillet
  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon and shrimp dry, then evenly coat them with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the salmon for about 4 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well, simmering gently for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir in chopped parsley.
  7. Return shrimp and salmon to the skillet to coat with the sauce, warming through for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately, spooning extra garlic cream sauce over the top.

Notes

For an extra touch, serve with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables to balance the richness of the garlic cream sauce.
