This Bacon Cheddar Cheese Ball is the perfect appetizer for any party! Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with bacon, it’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball.
  4. If using nuts, spread them on a plate or in a shallow bowl. Roll the cheese ball in the nuts until completely coated.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve with crackers, pretzels, or vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cheese mixture. You can also substitute different types of cheese, such as pepper jack or gouda.
