Air Fryer Sea Scallops

Perfectly seared sea scallops with a tender, juicy center cooked quickly and easily in an air fryer for a deliciously healthy meal.

  • 1 lb sea scallops, patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh lemon wedges, for serving
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the scallops with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  3. Place the scallops in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
  4. Cook for 7-9 minutes, flipping halfway through, until scallops are opaque and slightly golden on the edges.
  5. Carefully remove from the air fryer and transfer to a serving plate.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the scallops in lemon juice and garlic for 15 minutes before air frying.
